Tendring Show 2011
2 August 2011 by Paula Fowler
Essex-based solicitors Fisher Jones Greenwood LLP once again showed their support for the annual show, sponsoring the food hall at this year’s event.
Despite the changeable weather, the show was a great success with thousands flocking to see the attractions on offer, from the show arenas and displays, to the vintage cars and numerous stalls. FJG’s stall proved a hit with visitors young and old and the competitions had hundreds of entrants on the day!
The winner of the treasure hunt for 1-10 year olds was six year old Connor Cosgrove who romped home with a perfect score, while the 11 – 17 year old treasure hunt was won by 13 year old Amber Daniel in a tight contest. The adults weren’t to be left out either, with Marion Johnson winning a Spa Day for two at Thorpe-Le-Soken’s Lifehouse resort.
Thanks to the fantastic generosity of all the stall visitors, the firm managed to raise over £217 for the Colchester NSPCC Business Group, which FJG staff have chosen as their nominated charity of the year.
