Solicitors gift to local charity
17 October 2011 by Ellen Petersen
Local solicitors firm Fisher Jones Greenwood LLP have given a Colchester charity a helping hand.
The firm has donated £250 to Colchester MIND. The charity works to improve the lives of people experiencing emotional or mental health problems, by helping them take control of their mental health. Half of the money has bought their young persons service, The Junction, a colour printer. The remainder will be used as their top prize in their Christmas raffle.
Ellen Petersen, partnership member said: “It means a lot to FJG to be able to help local people. We have not only helped enhance the experience of young people who visit The Junction, but have assisted the charity with raising more money via their Christmas raffle.”
James McQuiggan, CEO commented: “For the first time we have colour printer facilities which can be used by both staff and young people. We are also looking forward to our very first Christmas raffle and have been grateful for the support and interest we have received.”
Should you wish to purchase any of the raffle tickets then please contact the service on 01206 579080.
