Going for Gold
9 February 2012 by Paula Fowler
Olympic year has arrived and Essex-based Solicitors Fisher Jones Greenwood LLP have taken up the the Gold Challenge!
The Gold Challenge is a unique new charity challenge with the simple goal of completing five Olympic sports before the end of 2012. Of course the FJG team of budding Olympians led by team captain Charlotte Digby, are trying to complete far more than just five sports and are trying their hand at as many as physically possible.
FJG are participating in the challenge in aid of the J’s Hospice in Chelmsford. The aim of The J’s Hospice is to build the first age-appropriate hospice for 18 to 40 year olds with life limiting conditions in the East of England. They want young adults to have the best possible quality of life, as independently as they can. With such a fantastic cause to support, the more money raised, the better!
The sporting challenges are now in full swing with events like Boxing, Water Polo and Trampolining already completed and several more to come. To support the athletes of FJG, you can make donations on the team’s Virgin Money giving page, which is available by clicking here.
Of course, make sure you don’t miss the action pictures which are online on FJG’s Flickr pages and available to view here, with more coming soon!
