Mudslide of success at the Tendring Show
19 July 2012 by Paula Fowler
Local law firm QualitySolicitors FJG were once again out in force at the Tendring Show, showing their support for the annual event by sponsoring the food hall at this year’s show.
Despite the torrential rain and the torrents of mud, 15,000 people braved the conditions to see all that the show had to offer, from stalls and display rings to animal tents and art shows. Not to be outshone by the other attractions, the QSFJG stall proved a huge hit with visitors of all ages with a torrent of entries for all the competitions on offer!
The children’s art competition was a particular highlight, giving the stall a colourful edge. After some careful deliberation from the judges, the winner in the 1-10 year old category was 7 year old Jacob Bicker, while the 11-17 year old victor was 12 year old Alicia Garnham. The adult competition was also a popular affair, raising valuable money for the FJG Foundation and providing winner Louise Stock with a luxury world food and drink hamper.
Paula Fowler, Managing Partner at QS FJG said: “It is great to be able to continue to support such a fantastic local event as the Tendring Show. The organisers put in a huge effort to get the showground ready in the conditions and we look forward to coming back and showing our support again next year, albeit hopefully in better weather!”
