The Commercial Team looks back over 2014.

The Commercial Department here at Fisher Jones Greenwood LLP has witnessed a number of changes throughout 2014. The relocation of offices in Chelmsford from Steeple House to Baddow Road in June proved to be a hugely successful venture. Not only is the new office at 16 Baddow Road far more spacious and welcoming, but is also in a much more convenient location for our clients and for the FJG brand. The office, for those of you that have not yet had the pleasure of visiting us there, is over three floors, a short walk from the high street.
The commercial team has also grown considerably during the year. In June, Thomas Utting and Lucinda White joined the department as paralegals working for head of commercial Tony Fisher. Both Thomas and Lucinda now support Tony and also solicitor Ashton Carter.
More recently, the Commercial team took on another solicitor, Emily Waterhouse, who has further boosted the department and added another area of expertise to the field. Emily is experienced in Renewable Energy, start-up businesses and infrastructure projects.
Aside from the growth in personnel, head of department Tony Fisher also spent some time working in Kenya. Tony went to Nairobi with a charity called Peace Brigades International as part of a delegation of lawyers who form part of what is known as the Alliance for Lawyers at Risk. With the new offices up and running and the expanded team in place, the Commercial Department is ready to carry on the success and start 2015 with a bang. If you need any advice in the forthcoming year and would like to discuss your business plans and ideas with any member of the team, please contact our Corporate Commercial Department on 01245 584515 or at firstname.lastname@example.org and come and see us at our lovely new offices.
Merry Christmas and a happy New Year from all the team.
