Raising the “Bar” – FJG & Fitodyssey
18 August 2015 by Paula Fowler
Award-winning local law firm, Fisher Jones Greenwood, and innovative start-up, Fitodyssey, team up to stage mini-Olympics.
As part of Fisher Jones Greenwood’s commitment to be the fittest law firm in the East, a mini sports day was held on Saturday 15th August for participants on the firm’s Fitodyssey fitness and wellbeing programme.
Showcasing the progress that everyone has made after 7 weeks of their 13 week programme, the levels of energy, commitment and teamwork were hugely impressive and a great time was had by all. Demonstrating that regular exercise and healthier eating can lead to great results, a selection of the firm’s partners and employees set their own personal bests as part of their ongoing journey towards healthier lifestyles.
Paula Fowler, Managing Partner of Fisher Jones Greenwood, commented: “The mini sports day was a great way to mark the halfway point of our first Fitodyssey programmes. The day was full of fun, friendly competition and great motivation and support which also sums up our journey with Fitodyssey so far. Those elements, coupled with Fitodyssey’s long term thinking has helped to make healthier lifestyles a habit for everyone on the programme. That is certainly something we now want to continue beyond the 13 weeks as part of our progression to be the fittest firm in the East!
Jason Skelton, Co-Founder of Fitodyssey, added: “It’s been a real pleasure to work with a forward-thinking firm like Fisher Jones Greenwood, and we’ve been very impressed with the levels of motivation and engagement shown by everyone throughout the programme. We believe the key to healthier lifestyles is making exercise and good nutrition a habit and our approach makes this easy for people of all levels of fitness.”
