Essex based Solicitors Fisher Jones Greenwood LLP have recruited a new immigration caseworker.
Sarah Myerscough is accredited to Level 2 as a senior caseworker under the Law Society's Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme. Her previous experience includes working for Refugee and Migrant Justice (RMJ) and volunteering in Australia with Balmain for Refugees, a charity focusing mainly upon preparing ministerial intervention letters to support cases that had exhausted all other legal avenues.
Sarah joins a team of three and will be specialising in asylum, immigration and human rights law, including applications and appeals, fresh claims and indefinite leave to remain (ILR) applications. She comments: "I am really thrilled to have secured this appointment. I have a passion for defending the human rights of vulnerable people and even focused my university dissertation on the same subject. FJG has an experienced
immigration team which has an excellent reputation, endorsed by Chambers and Partners legal directory ."
Louise Boyes, head of the immigration team said: "Sarah's appointment comes at a time when enquiries in this area of law are high. I welcome Sarah to our expanding team of experts and look forward to working with her."
