Divorce and Separation

Divorce is an unfortunate fact of life and a great deal of unhappiness is generated by mistrust, ill-advised behaviour and unrealistic expectations on separation. This guide does not provide all the answers but it will help you to understand the legal process better and appreciate what steps have to be taken, and why. It also provides you with some useful addresses of organisations that can help with the emotional stress and practical problems of divorce and separation particularly where children are concerned. For further information please telephone Chris Graves on 01206-578282 or email him at cgraves@qsfjg.co.uk

We have two offices in Colchester, as well as offices in Chelmsford, Clacton-on-Sea, Billericay and Central London. Family law services (inculding advice on divorce) are available at all of our offices.

You may be eligible for legal aid. Follow this link to the legal aid eligibility calculator to find out.
