Long Residence in the UK

In certain circumstances, this category allows individuals to make an application for Indefinite Leave to Remain where:-

• They have been in the UK lawfully for 10 years continuously; or
• They have been in the UK unlawfully for 14 years continuously.

There are additional requirements that must be met in order for an application to be considered, examples of these considerations include whether the applicant is of good character and has knowledge of the English language and life in the UK.
