There have been huge changes in the law about accident claims. From April 2000
the Government withdrew Legal Aid from certain types of accident claims on the
grounds that they were more suitable for 'no win, no fee' arrangements with
solicitors. These changes left behind many people who may have a claim to
compensation but whose case may not be clear-cut or attractive. But help may yet
be available if it concerns:
- Medical or clinical negligence
- Deliberate assault
- Claims against the Police or public authorities
- Public interest claims - that may directly benefit more than a hundred other
people
- Complicated claims with high cost and high compensation
Just ask! Justice is not restricted to the rich and famous …
