Since 1st April 2000 Public Funding is no longer generally available for personal injury cases.
This means that most cases will be funded in future by legal expenses insurance (usually as an add-on to your house or motor insurance), through Trade Union support (if you are a member), or under a "no win, no fee" agreement (also known as a "Conditional Fee agreement")
