THE FJG BREAKFAST CLUB
For the next FJG breakfast meeting we welcome Tom Brennan - MD Brennan Group. Tom will provide a quick overview about the Brennan Group and his decision to purchase the newly named business park (De Grey Square - adjacent to the Colchester Business Park and the Weston Homes Stadium) which comprises 17 units and his aspirations for the development.
Over the past decade the Brennon group has continued to rise to new challenges by concentrating on delivering excellent and consistent service, meeting clients quality, cost and programme expectations, developing best value solutions, employing a tried and stable workforce and importantly continuing to enjoy what they do.
The FJG Breakfast Club was set up in 2006 for companies based on the Colchester Business Park, with the aim of providing an informal atmosphere for exchanging ideas over coffee and a cooked breakfast. Since then, membership has widened to include companies from elsewhere and inspirational speakers are now invited to the meetings, which take place every six weeks. Tendring Area Careers and Futures Event - February 23rd 2012
We will have a stand at the Careers and Futures Event at the Clacton Coastal Academy in February 2012. The event is aimed at year nine students and aims to raise aspiration and awareness of opportunities and future pathways for young people in the area.
Business East - March 7th 2012
Business East 2012 is the inaugural Business2Business eastern regional networking event organised by JobServe Events and will provide a great opportunity for business networking. Taking place at the Weston Homes Community Stadium in Colchester, we will be located at stand 18 on the day. The day runs from 10am - 4pm and we hope to see you there.
Men's Health day and Sportsman's dinner - March 22nd 2012
CHAPS, The N.E. Essex Men's Health Charity, Col. Utd F.C. and The Invicta Foundation
This event is to 'kick start' the need to establish a local men's health forum to promote all aspects of men's and boy's health for the future. The need for a forum to focus male opinion and raise standards is highlighted by the fact that men die younger than women for reasons that are unclear but from causes that span the whole spectrum of disease. Social deprevation worsens this. CHAPS aims to raise awareness, eliminate inequality and raise the need for national screening services and research funding.
There will be a FREE open health event, FREE instant health checks from 10-4pm at the Weston Homes Stadium.
The evening dinner will be opened by a well known personality followed by a sportsman's dinner hosted by top comedian Ian Irving and football legend Matt Holland
