Colchester Solicitors support Help for Heroes
Golf Day
A charity golf day was held in Colchester on 3rd June in support of Help for Heroes, a new organisation formed in October 2007 to help those who have been wounded in Britain’s current conflicts. The charity has already built one recovery centre in Edinburgh and is now trying to raise money to complete a second recovery house in Colchester. The Colchester centre would provide places for up to 12 wounded soldiers with support and assistance to aid recuperation.
The event was held at Lexden Wood Golf Club in Colchester and consisted of a 9 hole pitch and putt competition and an 18 hole Stableford competition on the full course.
Colchester Solicitors Fisher Jones Greenwood sponsored a golf hole at the event which raised £795 for Help for Heroes.
