On Tuesday, 21 heavy standard oak trees will be planted on the verges on Wyncolls Road as part of National Tree Week. Each tree has been sponsored by a business based on or associated with the park.

Senior Partner at Fisher Jones Greenwood Tony Fisher, who’s P.A. A special tree-planting ceremony will follow on from a breakfast club meeting at which Consultant Arboriculturist Paul Allen from Chelmsford based firm D F Clark Bionomique Ltd will be speaking about the effect of climate change on trees, particularly in the East of England and dispelling some of the myths surrounding tree planting and carbon-offsetting.
