Fisher Jones Greenwood are on the ball

Solicitors from leading Colchester law firm Fisher Jones Greenwood LLP are preparing to exchange tackling legal cases for rugby tackles!

For the first time ever a team from the firm made up of  both staff and members of their families, will be taking part in this year’s Beach Tag Rugby tournament which is being organised by the Eastern Counties Rugby Union (ECRU) as part of its Go Rugby initiative which aims to encourage community involvement in rugby.

Players of both sexes and all ages and abilities are welcome to take part in the tournament which kicks off on Clacton beach on Saturday June 30.

Senior Partner at Fisher Jones Greenwood Tony Fisher said: “The youngest member of our team is just 11 years old and so far we are the only commercial team to have entered. It’s a great way of bringing everyone together and a lot of fun too.”

Eastern counties Community Rugby Chairman Andrew Sarek said:” The tournament is one of three taking place in the Eastern region this summer and we are delighted that Fisher Jones Greenwood is entering a team. It would be fantastic if other firms followed their example and entered a team too.”
