Neemah Ahamed is a Trainee Solicitor in our Commercial Department. She has been an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya for 7 years and has run her own professional practice in Nairobi. Whilst in Kenya she was the primary legal adviser to a number of foreign award-winning social and commercial enterprises involved in the areas of health, education, sanitation, environment and real estate development.
She established a distribution platform for 1,000 micro-franchise entrepreneurs and was involved in scaling systems for 400 primary schools catering to 102,644 under privileged children. Neemah has an LLB from the University of Sheffield, the Legal Practice Course qualification and an LLM from SOAS in International Commercial Comparative Law.
During her free time Neemah enjoys dancing the Lindy Hop and the Charleston to 1940’s swing music. She is the Co-founder of an initiative called “Panties with Purpose” which raises global awareness of the problems of menstrual hygiene management faced by underprivileged school girls in Kenya.
