This venture was a response to a need identified in Tendring by the Legal Services Commission (the body responsible for Legal Aid) for more solicitors and better provision of legal advice in the district. The Outreach Service is based at the Citizens Advice Bureau at 18 Carnarvon Road, Clacton-on-Sea,
Essex and at 298 Main Road, Harwich, Essex and it provides outreach services and telephone advice for isolated and vulnerable client groups.
We can provide legal aid to those who are eligible and free initial advice to those who are not. Our legal experts can advise on all aspect
of the following:-
Our family law department offers legal services in all aspects of family and matrimonial law, including:-
- the consequence of relationship breakdown
- disputes involving children, including child care disputes with local authorities
- financial and property settlements
- violence in the family home and injunctions.
We also offer a mediation service from our Colchester offices.
Housing and Homelessness
We provide specialist advice and representation on all aspects of housing law, including:-
- homelessness
- possession proceedings
- repairing obligations.
