A great part of this success has been due to our staff and our working environment. Due to the location of our offices throughout Essex, we are in the unique position to be able to offer both Town Centre and out of Town working for our employees across a wide range of Legal disciplines.
We enjoy our work and value good relationships within the firm. We like to recruit cheerful, outgoing people who are ready to tackle anything.

We are also an equal opportunities employer and welcome people from all backgrounds. We recognise that in order to be successful, we need to create an inclusive environment where everyone can realise their potential and succeed.
This means that all employees, and applicants considered for employment, will be treated without regard to Sex, Race, Age, Gender, Religion or Disability
Our goal is to treat all individuals fairly throughout and any decisions and selections in the workplace are based solely on job-related criteria and the needs of the firm.
At Fisher Jones Greenwood we realise the importance of equality and diversity and are proud to be signatories of the Law Society’s diversity and inclusion Charter.
Established in 2009, the charter is designed to help practices turn their commitment to diversity and inclusion in to positive, practical action.
It is a public commitment by FJG to promote the values of diversity and inclusion so whether through recruitment, retention, career progression or training and development, we are committed to improving opportunities for people in the legal profession, regardless of their background or circumstances.
As charter signatories we are required to participate in a biennial report that shows how well we are meeting our charter commitments and where more work needs to be done. There is also a set of protocols to help us fulfil our commitments, accompanied by checklists and best practice guidelines.
In line with the Charter, as signatories, FJG will:
• Strive to achieve best practice in our recruitment, retention and career progression practices as employers
• Support the development of good diversity practice by collecting and sharing examples of practical activities that contribute to progress with other signatories
• Assign responsibility for meeting our charter commitments to a named, senior level individual
• Work together to develop and adopt future protocols that support the practical implementation of the aims of this charter
• Annually publish the diversity profile of our UK employees and details of our work on equality, diversity and inclusion
• Publish a joint annual report on the basis of a monitoring exercise to measure the impact of this charter and its protocols. These reports will form the basis of regular dialogue with stakeholders, employees and clients.
