As we are in these uncertain and unprecedented times the importance of businesses being able to adapt and continuing to operate has never been more important.

Many companies who supply food and products to the catering and hotel industry are re-energising their businesses to provide food and products to the public through home deliveries, click and collect or personal shopping.

The Government, following the closure of public houses and restaurants has temporarily relaxed the planning rules so that public houses and restaurants can continue to operate offering a hot food takeaway thereby allowing businesses to continue trading in an alternative format and assist with supporting and feeding the nation.

At the moment this is for a temporary period of 12 months.

This flexibility, negating the need to apply for express planning permission, means that it can be implemented immediately.
