In a surprise turn of events, the Chancellor, George Osborne announced a reform of Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) for non-residential property in yesterday’s Budget. The link below provides guidance from HMRC on the implications and how these changes will affect purchases of non-residential property from 17th March 2016.
