FJG at Pride Colchester…
3 July 2019 by James Bird
Colchester Pride took place on Saturday 29th June 2019 at the Firstsite Gallery. It was one of many events worldwide held to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and Fisher Jones Greenwood were very happy to have a stall at the event. Our banner, which proclaimed that “Love is Love”, received a lot of praise and our face-painting kits and “Love Hearts” sweets also proved very popular. Please take a look at all our social media outlets to see pictures of the day.
Throughout the day people came up to ask questions about their own personal circumstances. These ranged from what legal considerations a person should have when thinking about getting married, how to go about dissolving a civil partnership, what needs to be considered when making a Will and the processes for buying and selling property. We were very happy to answer whatever questions we could on the day or to provide people with the contact details for someone who would be able to.
Pride 2019 was just one day but Fisher Jones Greenwood is available all year round to answer whatever questions people from the LGBTQ+ community might need help with. The areas of law we cover span across Family, Litigation, Personal Injury, Employment, Commercial and Residential Property, Corporate & Commercial Law, Immigration, Equity Release and Wills, Life Planning and Probate.
Please feel free to contact us at any time – we are here to give whatever advice and support you need – call 01206 700113 or email [email protected].
