Rachel Earnshaw qualified as a solicitor in 2002 having joined Fisher Jones Greenwood in 2000. Her expertise lies in all areas of family law, but she is particularly interested in child care proceedings (she has been appointed to the Law Society’s Children Panel since 2007) and civil partnerships for same sex couples.
As part of the Family Law team Rachel advises clients about all matters regarding disputes about children such proceedings involving Social Services as well as other matters such as residence or contact. As a Children Panel member she is also able to represent children in any proceedings where they are a party.
Rachel Earnshaw also advises in relation to divorce, dissolution, ancillary relief, and cohabitant disputes.
She enjoys working within the community and attends regularly at our Clacton Office and has retained links with Staffordshire university, where she studied, by acting as a Practitioner Mentor for students and those joining the legal profession. Rachel is also a trustee for the Eastern Legal Support Trust raising money to help fund free legal advice services.
