A new interactive website has been launched this week for the SAFE Forum, a network of agencies and professionals who support families across Essex.

SAFE (Support Agencies for Families in Essex) was set up in the summer of 2013 to build a broad, diverse and invaluable network in response to the impact of constant changes to legislation and monetary cut backs.

With so many agencies and services in Essex trying to do the best for those they support, such a forum enables everyone to work together, seek support, share information and find resources they were not aware that existed.

The new website includes a forum where members can share information and ask questions, as well as an events page and a useful contacts page for all members. It will further facilitate the SAFE Forum’s goal of being able to bring local support agencies together to achieve the best possible outcome for families in Essex.

Charlotte Knappett, SAFE Forum founder and partner at Fisher Jones Greenwood solicitors commented, “Since the inaugural SAFE forum meeting took place in 2013, the Forum has continued to grow in member numbers and importance. The group have regular meetings to update one another and also hear from guest speakers. With everyone under so much pressure, and their lives so busy, getting together physically can be tough so access to this online resource will be invaluable for our members. It will also hopefully mean more can join the Forum and thus increase its effectiveness even further.”
