Kate Crossman is an Graduate of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (GILEx), and has worked in the family department at Fisher Jones Greenwood since 2014. Kate is currently studying part-time to become a Chartered Legal Executive.
Kate assists Charlotte Knappett and Ties Bouwmeester in the family team, and deals with a wide range of family law matters including private law children act proceedings, divorce and financial matters, domestic abuse and child abduction.
Kate previously worked in criminal law and qualified as an Accredited Police Station Representative through Cardiff Law School.
Kate is a committee member of the Essex Branch of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) and arranges social and CPD events for local students and professionals, as well as working closely with CILEx headquarters regarding the development of CILEx branches. She is also a member of the Future Lawyers of Colchester and Chelmsford (FLoCC).
Kate is keen to unite young lawyers from all legal routes and therefore is keen to see more young CILEx lawyers involved in FLoCC.
