Lisa joined FJG in November 2016 as a paralegal and later did her training contract here at FJG. She qualified as a solicitor in January 2019 and is working in the family team on matters of domestic abuse, private law children, divorce and finances.
Lisa is a member of Resolution which is a family law organisation that promotes resolving issues in a constructive way by reducing conflict and confrontation. Lisa is keen to abide by, and encourages other young lawyers to abide by, the Resolution Code of Practice to ensure best practice in her work as a family lawyer.
Lisa completed her LPC with a distinction in October 2016. Previously, in 2013, Lisa obtained an English and French law degree with a 2:1 and, in 2015, she obtained an LLM in International Human Rights at the University of Essex with a 2:1.
Lisa has previous experience working as a volunteer in a French charity helping Asylum Seekers. She also completed internships in London at the AIRE Centre, REDRESS Trust and the BPP Legal Advice Clinic on family law.
Lisa sees FLOCC as a welcome opportunity to do some networking, share experiences and ideas with other young lawyers.
In her spare time, Lisa loves to socialise, travel and walk the dogs.
