Joel is a Solicitor in our Family Team based in Chelmsford.
Joel joined Fisher Jones Greenwood as a paralegal in August 2019 after completing his law Degree at Anglia Ruskin University. He has since completed the Legal Practice Course combined with an LLM Masters degree at Northumbria University and Joel also has a Higher Diploma in Paralegal Practice.
Joel qualified as a Solicitor in June 2022 and is able to deal with a broad range of family matters including; children disputes between parents, divorce, financial matters arising upon divorce, and domestic abuse, and changes of name. Joel is also able to undertake his own advocacy where appropriate.
Joel provides pro-bono (free) advice in collaboration with Anglia Ruskin Law Clinic and also helps to run the family law drop-in clinic at our Chelmsford office on Wednesday mornings, offering free face to face meetings with a Solicitor for initial advice.
Joel has been a great support during a very difficult time. He has really gone above and beyond in supporting me. Outside of work, Joel enjoys spending time with his family, playing hockey, and he is currently learning Norwegian.
