Lawrence joined Fisher Jones Greenwood as a Paralegal in 2012 and qualified as a solicitor in July 2015. He was originally based at our Charter Court office on the Colchester Business Park. He has since moved to our Baddow Road office in Chelmsford. Lawrence maintains a client base in Chelmsford, Colchester and Clacton on Sea.
Lawrence is part of the Dispute Resolution team and practices in a wide variety of contentious matters including Commercial Litigation, Civil Litigation, Landlord and Tenant, Property Disputes and Employment Law. Lawrence has practiced in these areas since he qualified in July 2015.
Lawrence regularly advises Landlords on contentious matters involving forfeiture proceedings, possession proceedings, contentious commercial lease extension and dilapidations matters. He advises on breach of contract, consumer rights matters and debt recovery matters. He also advises both employees and employers on contentious and non-contentious employment law with a focus on unfair dismissal, restrictive covenants and discrimination law.
Lawrence Adams graduated from University of Kent with a Law Degree in 2011. He studied for his Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Bloomsbury (now the University of Law) in 2012 studying electives in Commercial Law, Employment Law and Advanced Property.
Away from FJG, Lawrence has a keen interest in automotive journalism and enjoys cycling, skiing and mountaineering.
