This year the Chelmsford 10km Legal Walk will be taking place on the 18th May 2023.
The Chelmsford Legal Walk is an annual event which gathers the legal community and supporters of Access to Justice to raise money for the advice sector and awareness of the essential work it does.
The Access to Justice Foundation is a UK wide grant making charity which support the provision of free legal advice and representation to the people who need it the most. These causes have been particularly hit by the rise in cost of living which is why it is so important to play a part in helping out.
The purpose of the walk is to raise money for legal charities. The legal charities that are supported help prevent families being made homeless, prevent destitution, help older people gain the support to which they are entitled, and help women and children suffering from domestic abuse.
The walk will start between 5.30pm – 6pm at Trinity Chambers. Walkers are asked to arrive at 5pm. It is a great social and networking event with refreshments provided.
