We proudly supported Farleigh Hospice’s £50 Challenge, an initiative that encourages creativity and teamwork to raise funds for vital hospice care.

Why We Took on the Challenge

Keeley Miller, Head of Commercial Property at Fisher Jones Greenwood, explains:18016167-fb4b-4127-899d-67eb3987af44

“The Commercial Property Team proudly supported Farleigh Hospice’s £50 Challenge, turning a £50 seed fund into an incredible £600! Through raffle ticket sales and creative fundraising, we’ve helped provide vital care for local families. Our festive hamper raffle brought fun and generosity together to make a real difference in our community.

We had our office Christmas Party this month and used the occasion to boost our challenge – we kept participation wholly in-house so that an FJG employee would have the chance to win the raffle. The hamper and contents were donated by FJG team members, and the Star Prize Hamper contained the £50 seed money and over £125 of festive goodies.

Tickets were sold across all six offices, and thanks to our generous staff, we raised £600

Why This Matters

Farleigh Hospice provides specialist palliative and end-of-life care across mid-Essex, supporting hundreds of patients and families every day. They care for people affected by life-limiting illnesses—including cancer, neurological conditions, and chronic heart, lung, and renal diseases—both in their Inpatient Unit and in patients’ homes.

It costs over £21,000 per day to run the hospice, and only 40% of costs are covered by NHS funding—so every pound raised makes a difference.

Thank you to everyone who contributed! Your generosity helps Farleigh Hospice continue its incredible work in our community.
