We’re delighted to announce that we have achieved double award success at the inaugural Tendring Blue Ribbon Awards. At the awards ceremony last night, we picked up wins for both ‘Business in the Community’ and the prestigious ‘Judges Award’ for all-round excellence.
The awards celebrated the triumphs and community achievements of those in the Tendring area by highlighting the abundance of good work that local businesses and groups have contributed over the last 12 months.
Held at the Princes Theatre in Clacton, the awards event was a complete sell out and was hosted by event sponsors Jamesons Accountants, Dream 100, Barclays Bank and Tendring District Council. In total 12 awards were given out to local businesses and over £3000 was raised for charity over the course of a fantastic evening.
Managing Partner Paula Fowler remarked, “To win not just one but two awards, is a tremendous achievement for all Clacton Staff, past and present and is testament to the dedication and effort expended.”
“We were thrilled to have been shortlisted so I am naturally delighted to see the firm recognised as an outstanding business in the community amongst such strong competition. Receiving the Judges Award accolade for our contribution to the area really was the icing on the cake.”
Ms Fowler continued, “There has been a great deal of growth of the Tendring area over the last few years and it is fantastic to be able to be a part of these awards which signify and celebrate that. We have always been committed to this community and we are excited to be a part of the future of the flourishing Tendring area.”
After the success of the Tendring Blue Ribbon awards, we’ve now got our fingers crossed for the Law Society Excellence Awards taking place later this month. Having made the shortlist for both ‘Excellence in Private Client Practice’ and ‘Excellence in Technology’, October is certainly shaping up to be an exciting month!
