Fisher Jones Greenwood Solicitors (FJG) is delighted to announce that Partner of the firm Keeley Miller can offer Notary Services as of February 2021. As a Notary, Keeley is able to authenticate and certify signatures, authority, and capacity relating to documents and transactions for private and commercial clients for use abroad in foreign jurisdictions.
Keeley qualified as a Notary Public in 2020, following completion of a 2-year professional skills course at University College London (UCL). There are currently just under 800 Notaries in the UK and FJG is delighted to be able to add this specialist provision into their umbrella of services.
What is a Notary Public?
Keeley will now be recognised, as a Notary Public, a specialist lawyer who holds an internationally recognised public office. She will be able to provide a guarantee of certain matters in an act and that it is being undertaken lawfully. For example, Keeley can help individuals prepare and authenticate powers of attorney for use overseas, deal with the purchase or sale of land and property abroad, verify foreign wills and documents dealing with the administration of international estates, authenticate documents for immigration or emigration and validate company and business documents.
Paula Fowler CEO FJG comments: “Keeley has worked hard to realise this monumental milestone; achieved by few. Thanks to Keeley, we are very privileged to be able to offer a Notary Service at FJG.”
Keeley is available now to assist with your Notarial requirements across all of FJG’s offices in Essex and London.
