Lasting Powers of Attorney – the same difference?

Once registered, a Property and Finance Lasting Power of Attorney (“LPA”) can be used whilst the donor still has capacity, unless the LPA states otherwise. A Health and Welfare LPA, however, can only be used when it has been registered AND the donor has lost capacity.
