Alex joined FJG in February 2025. Alex has worked in conveyancing for 8 years and qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer in November 2021.
Alex has gained a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of residential conveyancing including sales, purchases, transfer of equity, remortgaging, shared ownership, new build and both freehold and leasehold transactions. Alex is happy to attend to technical types of conveyancing and has recently acted on an acquisition of a church with covenants affecting the attached graveyard and advising on woodland acquisitions for clients living in rural areas.
Alex prides himself in providing clear and concise information to clients. Alex appreciates that legal jargon and processes can seem convoluted at times and is best interpreted by clients if such advice can be provided in a personable and clear manner which Alex’s clients’ favour.
Alex graduated with a law degree in 2015 from Nottingham Trent University and shortly after began work as an estate agent. This prior experience has enabled Alex to understand all aspects of property from both the legal and sales progression side which has helped accelerate Alex’s career in property law. Alex understands that good communication with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers and other key stakeholders in a conveyancing transaction is key to providing a good service and prides himself in his communication skills.
