Karen began her legal career in Cape Town, South Africa where she specialised in the field of private client law, in particular wills and probate. In 2002, Karen relocated to England and joined Steed & Steed. She studied law in England at the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and became a Fellow of the Institute in 2007.
Karen has more than 25 years’ experience and has handled a large variety of matters in the area of private client work with a particular emphasis on Probate and the preparation and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Karen has a good relationship with local Estate Agents, Financial Advisors and Accountants who refer work through to her. Karen’s clients also refer family and friends on a regular basis.
She is also recognised in the Legal 500 team commentary for Personal Tax, Trusts and Probate, where they said she is, “always quick in replying to my queries and providing initial information.”
