Rachel Earnshaw, Partner, qualified as a Solicitor in 2002 having joined Fisher Jones Greenwood in 2000. Her expertise lies in family law and she specialises in child care proceedings (she has been appointed to the Law Society’s Children Panel since 2007). Rachel graduated from Staffordshire University with a LLB Law degree (class 2:1) in 1999 and a Diploma in Legal Practice in 2000.
As part of the Family Law Team, Rachel advises clients about all family matters including divorce, financial matters, cohabiting and disputes about children involving either family members or Social Services. As a Law Society accredited Children Panel member since 2008, she is also able to represent children in any proceedings where they are a party. Rachel has also undertaken training and advises about the law in relation to Special Educational Needs.
Rachel is also recognised in the latest edition of Legal 500 2026, where she is named as a ‘Next Generation Partner’ for Family Law.
She enjoys working within the community and also attends regularly at our Braintree, Sudbury, Colchester and Clacton Offices.
Outside of work, Rachel is also a Trustee for the Eastern Legal Support Trust raising money to help fund free legal advice services and a Governor at a local school.
