We’re delighted to announce that Rebecca Palmer, Solicitor and Director of SRA-regulated Constructive Law Limited has joined the firm as a Consultant Solicitor from January 2020. The firm is now able to offer expert advice on Construction Law to all of its clients.  For developers, we are now in a position to offer a package of services that includes not only legal expertise from a core real estate perspective, but also planning and construction advice and assistance.

Rebecca qualified into one of London’s market-leading engineering, construction and procurement practices in 2006 and has since specialised in the provision of Construction Law support to all sectors of the UK construction and engineering industries. Rebecca can provide legal and commercial insights to developers, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, tenants and lenders in need of tailored, effective and value-driven support in the procurement and delivery of construction projects.

Following on from the recruitment of Bushra Elzubeir, Head of FJG’s Dispute Resolution team and Keeley Miller, Partner within the growing Commercial Property team, Rebecca’s appointment continues to bolster FJG’s offering. Rebecca will be working with the Commercial Property team and the firm’s Corporate & Commercial and Dispute Resolution teams.

Ellen Petersen, Partner and Head of Commercial Property comments: “Coupled with FJG’s known strengths in Commercial Property and Planning, the broadening of the practice to now incorporate Construction Law, enables FJG to offer our clients the strength and depth of a full “end to end” Commercial Property service.”

Rebecca adds “there are so many areas of common ground between FJG’s values and culture and those of my own practice, that I am very excited to be joining a team of such like-minded and well-regarded experts in their respective fields.”

With over 15 years’ experience, Rebecca is well-known in her field, particularly across Essex and Suffolk. She is commended by The Legal 500 and Chambers directories and is passionate about encouraging women to work in law. She regularly delivers tailored training in Construction Law both to clients and industry groups.

Rebecca is available now to assist with Construction Law matters across all of FJG’s offices in Essex and London.
