July 2012 saw local law firm QualitySolicitors FJG running their very own Wills week, raising nearly £3,000 for charity in the process.
The week 23 – 27 July saw the Wills & Probate team waiving all fees and donating all proceeds from Wills made during the week from their offices across Essex, to charity. Having raised a staggering £2,985, the money will go to the FJG Foundation, set up by partners and staff at QS FJG for the benefit of and to support local charitable and worthy causes.
Kate Wombwell, Partnership Member and Head of the Private Client Team at QS FJG said: “It is fantastic that we have been able to raise such a significant amount of money for charity and we are sure that local charitable causes will really feel the benefit of this moving forward. As well as raising money for charity, it is always important to encourage people of all ages over eighteen to make sure they have everything in order and have a Will written or an existing Will updated. Running our Wills Week has helped to really promote this message throughout Essex.”
