Fisher Jones Greenwood is proud to be supporting Manningtree has Pride 2026, a vibrant, community-led celebration of inclusivity taking place across the town on Saturday 6th June.
Now in its third year, Manningtree has Pride has quickly become a much-loved local event, bringing together residents, businesses and visitors to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community in what is often described as England’s smallest town. The day will feature a wide range of activities, including live music, workshops, performances and family-friendly entertainment, alongside a programme of evening events hosted by venues across Manningtree.
Originally founded by local business owner Rowan Hunter, the event was created to celebrate LGBTQ+ identities and promote inclusion within rural Essex communities, ensuring that visibility and support are not limited to larger cities.
At its heart, Manningtree has Pride is about raising awareness, educating, and creating a welcoming space where people can feel seen, supported and free to be themselves.
Why FJG is supporting Manningtree has Pride
As a firm rooted in the communities of Essex and Suffolk, we consider supporting events like Manningtree has Pride an important part of who we are.
Pride events play a vital role in bringing communities together, encouraging understanding and promoting inclusivity, while also providing a visible platform for conversations around equality and representation.
For many individuals – particularly in smaller or rural communities – events like this create a sense of belonging and reassurance that they are not alone, something the organisers themselves set out to achieve when launching the event.
At FJG, we are committed to ensuring that everyone can access legal advice in a way that feels approachable, inclusive and supportive. Supporting Manningtree has Pride allows us to be visibly present within the community, demonstrating that commitment in a meaningful and practical way.
Looking ahead to Saturday
Members of our team will be attending the event throughout the day, and we look forward to meeting visitors, supporting fellow local businesses, and celebrating what makes Manningtree such a special and inclusive place to live and work.
Representing FJG at this year’s event will be Sasha Coburn, Lisa O’Boyle, Rachel Earnshaw and Clare Clark.
We’re proud to stand alongside the community in celebrating diversity, encouraging inclusivity, and supporting an event that reflects the values we strive to uphold every day.
Supporting events such as Manningtree has Pride forms part of Fisher Jones Greenwood’s wider commitment to giving back to the communities we serve.
