The latest Chambers UK Guide has recognised the progress of our lawyers alongside sustained high performance from established colleagues and teams. Mario Mastantuono has moved up to be recognised in the Associates to Watch category, while Rhian Lowe has risen to Band 2 in the 2027 guide.
Ties Bouwmeester has entered the Chambers rankings for the first time, receiving recognition for Family/Matrimonial work in East Anglia.
Ashton Carter has retained his Band 1 ranking for the third year running, having previously been recognised as Up and Coming in 2024, while Charlotte Knappett remains Band 4 for a third consecutive year.
Our Corporate and Commercial team has retained its Band 1 ranking. Their expertise spans the full business lifecycle, from advising start-ups and supporting day-to-day commercial decisions to guiding clients through complex transactions. Our Family/Matrimonial practice is ranked in Band 3, while the Litigation practice is also recognised in the guide.
The Chambers results follow our recent recognition in the Legal 500, where the firm was ranked across seven practice areas and several lawyers received individual recognition, adding to a strong period of independent legal recognition for the firm.
The latest recognition also comes during a significant period for FJG following our acquisition of Giles Wilson, as the firm continues to develop its teams and build for its next stage of growth.
These results are about more than positions in a directory. They demonstrate people progressing, experienced lawyers sustaining high standards and teams creating the conditions for excellent work.
Doug Field OBE, Managing Partner at Fisher Jones Greenwood, said:
“We want talented people to be able to build fulfilling careers at FJG. Seeing colleagues move through the rankings, while others maintain recognition over several years, provides independent evidence of both progression and sustained quality.
“This is a team achievement. Outstanding legal work depends on the contribution of colleagues across FJG, not only the individuals whose names appear in the guide.
“The acquisition of Giles Wilson is an important stepping stone in our growth. We are building a firm where talented people can develop ambitious careers, shape expanding teams and benefit from investment, while preserving the local relationships and identity that make us distinctive.”
For lawyers considering their next move, our growth creates opportunities to work with high quality teams, and help shape what comes next.
